Update on Canada-U.S. Tariffs: 30-Day Pause
As of Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the United States has announced a 25% tariff on all goods imported from Canada, alongside a 10% tariff on energy imports. In response, the Canadian government has implemented a 25% tariff on billions of American goods. However, these tariffs have been paused for the next 30 days, providing businesses with a temporary reprieve.
