Updates and Resources on Canada-US Tariffs

Update on Canada-U.S. Tariffs:

As of Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the United States has proceeded with a 25% tariff on Canadian exports, alongside a 10% tariff on energy exports. In response, the Canadian government has implemented a 25% tariff on American imports. Canadian tariffs on U.S. goods will remain in place until the U.S. trade action is withdrawn, and should U.S. tariffs not cease, our government is in active and ongoing discussions with provinces and territories to pursue several non-tariff measures.

The Economic Development team at Invest in Middlesex is here to support your business by offering essential information and guidance on available resources during this time, ensuring you're prepared for impacts and any upcoming changes to the current tariff situation.
