In the past, Middlesex Economic Development and Tourism has created long form, business profile videos, featuring 8 businesses each year; one located in each of our local municipalities. This year however, we wanted to take this project in a bit of a new direction, featuring shorter videos of 4 Middlesex County businesses; accompanying these videos with an interview style write up. We’ve named this project, “Making it in Middlesex: Stories of Business Success."

Middlesex County began producing “Invest in Middlesex” promotional videos back in 2015. The series highlights eight videos that profile people and businesses that make up the Middlesex economy and offer an inspiring look into local businesses and the reasons why they call Middlesex County home. Check out all of the videos throughout the year and listen to the stories of our amazing businesses.

Middlesex County’s Pathways to Employment Success is a project of the Middlesex Workforce Development Partnership in support of local workforce attraction. With funding from the County of Middlesex and Province of Ontario, as well as assistance from partnering organizations, individuals who work in a variety of businesses across Middlesex were engaged in candid filmed interviews detailing their positions and workplaces.

From Our Hands to Your Table is a series of autobiographical videos and an extensive marketing campaign showcasing the integral partnership between local producers and culinary operators across two regions in Southwestern Ontario; Sarnia-Lambton and Middlesex-London. Come and discover the stories of local producers and culinary operators and their partnership to further support a sustainable regional food system!
