The Township of Adelaide Metcalfe is located in northwest Middlesex County. Adelaide Metcalfe has a population of 3,102 and an area of 331.25 sq. kms. The Township was formed on January 1, 2001 with the amalgamation of the Townships of Adelaide and Metcalfe.
The township is just north of Strathroy and includes a busy commercial industrial corridor incorporating the interchange at highways 81 and 402.
